How to unlock the Nexus S Bootloader

The first step to customizing our phones and gaining root access to our Nexus S is to unlock the bootloader.

Please follow the easy steps below to unlock your Nexus S bootloader.

1. Power phone off.
2. Hold the volume up button and then the power button. You should load into the bootloader.
3. Type the following on your computer shell/dos screen: oem bootloader unlock
4. Volume up to select unlock and hit the power button to save.
5. You can now navigate to reboot your phone.
